It's not bad, characters are likeable, intense action, mystery, and accasional Dean (Jensen Ackles) speaking a few words about the life of a Supernatural Hunter.
Thanks! It's an above average supernatural type tv show. Not as good as the original long running series "Supernatural" with Sam and Dean.
As a Supernatural fan I watched the pilot with low expectations, but that was actually not as bad a I expected. Photography and pacing was good. Acting and writing can only improve, and the possibility of seeing familiar faces hinted at interviews (fingers crossed for Rowena). Also, Jensen Ackles narrating? come on.
I had such high hopes for this but WOW… That was… Something?
That's a "No thanks" from me, what's dead should certainly stay dead.
Actually, I was a tad disappointed in this production…
Does anyone else also feel that the actress playing the part of Mary seems to have non-existent emoting/acting skills ?

Oh, come on. Supernatural was FINALLY over after overrunning for 11 seasons, having ignored a fitting ending after season 4. And now they gotta dredge up the whole thing again? Stay dead already. Somebody get the Winchesters to kill this undead monstrosity of a story.

not really a prequel, this is Dean writing a fictional book inspired by his parents, so it's like a fiction inside a fiction
